Plunger valve is composed of parts such as valve body, valve cover, valve stem, plunger, orifice frame, sealing ring, handwheel, etc. When the handwheel rotates, the valve stem drives the plunger to move up and down in the middle of the hole frame to complete the opening and closing functions of the valve. In the valve, an interference fit is used between the plunger and the sealing ring. By adjusting the flange bolts in the pressure cover, the lateral force generated by the compression of the sealing ring is sealed with the hole surface and the outer circle of the plunger in the valve body, thereby ensuring the sealing of the valve, preventing internal and external leakage, and reducing the opening torque of the valve, which can achieve rapid opening and closing of the valve. Compared to globe valves, plunger valves have a longer lifespan and are easier to operate. But adjusting the stroke is longer than a globe valve, so throttling control is more difficult than a globe valve. Places with clear requirements for regulation are not suitable for both.
